The Job Generator
"And so, if anyone were to ask what I want out of life I would say the opportunity for doing something useful. For in no other way, I am convinced, can true happiness be obtained." Eleanor Roosevelt
The Job Generator - an e-book by Mike Nicholson
This e-book is intended to offer practical, rather than philosophical, job search guidance for all. In so doing the author recognises that the ideas it offers will not have equal application to every reader and that many will wish to delve more deeply into the whole issue of work transition [1]. A lack of philosophical content does not preclude a wide ranging or holistic approach to job search; indeed, this book addresses other areas of your life which, in most cases, will impact on your search.
Not only are there 'other factors' associated with job search but there are also certain aspects of job search which are potentially repetitive. Thus, although this book is presented in some sort of chronological sequence, its reader should try to think iteratively rather than assume that from start to finish will be a linear progression. These thoughts are the precursor to its logic.
Accepting that this author does not hold all the secrets of successful job hunting, it is his hope that there will be some feed-back from the reader which can be passed on to future generations. Indeed, in due course my intention is to support future editions of this book with some case histories. In the meantime may you have the best of luck as befits a hard-working job seeker.
